Polymer80slide was founded in 2018 after we recognized a consistent gap in the market: builders struggling to source quality components and guidance for Polymer80 frames in one place. Too many shops were selling parts without understanding how they performed in actual builds.

Who We Are

I'm Trevor Vance, the lead builder behind every kit we curate. Since 2016, I've personally completed over 2,500 Polymer80 builds. My background includes seven years as a precision machinist, which taught me to recognize tolerances and fit that others miss. I transitioned to firearms customization full-time because I saw builders wasting money on incompatible parts.

What Makes Our Selection Specific

Every slide, barrel, and lower parts kit we stock has been test-fitted and function-checked in at least three different P80 frames. We reject manufacturers whose finish thickness interferes with rail channels or whose locking block holes aren't consistently aligned. We don't carry parts that require heavy modification to function properly.

Our focus is achieving reliable performance, especially sub-MOA accuracy where possible. That means we prioritize barrels with consistent chamber dimensions over purely cosmetic finishes. We select slides with proper extractor channel machining and ejector clearance—details that matter when you're cycling rounds, not just assembling components.
