Is this a complete slide assembly?
No, the LF19 Combat Slide is sold as a stripped slide. You will need to source a slide completion parts kit (including barrel, recoil spring assembly, sights, and extractor) to build a functional upper assembly. This allows you to customize your build with components of your choice.
Will my Holosun 507C red dot mount directly to it?
Yes. The slide features a universal optics cut designed for the Trijicon RMR/Holosun 407C/507C/508T footprint. This allows for direct mounting of those popular optics without the need for an adapter plate, ensuring a low-profile and secure fit.
How does the nitride finish compare to cerakote?
Nitride (QPQ) is a salt-bath ferritic nitrocarburizing process that penetrates the steel, creating a surface that is significantly harder and more wear-resistant than applied coatings like Cerakote. It offers exceptional lubricity, corrosion resistance, and maintains its integrity even under heavy holster wear.
Is this compatible with a Polymer80 or other “Glock 19” frames?
The LF19 Combat Slide is machined to Gen 3 Glock 19 specifications. It is compatible with OEM Gen 3 frames and should fit most aftermarket frames designed to Gen 3 specs, such as Polymer80, but we always recommend confirming compatibility with your specific frame manufacturer.
